Angkor Countryside Day Tour
Discover the beauty of Cambodia’s enchanting countryside.
Our journey begins early in the morning with a visit to a monastery in a village a few kilometres from Siem Reap. Conditions permitting, you will have the opportunity to interact with and photograph Buddhist monks and their daily lives in the pagoda. After, we will explore the lush Cambodian countryside, witnessing a range of activities from rice farming to noodle making. In the afternoon, we will visit a truly FLOATING village on the glassy waters of the Tonlé Sap lake. Here you will have the chance to photograph local life on the lake in an incredibly intimate manner as we travel by small rowing boat. Sunset will be enjoyed over the rice fields.
This adventure is a great way to learn the ins and outs of documenting local life in an intimate and responsible way, far from the tourist crowds of Siem Reap town.
